    Help with Kent Products

    Hey All..

I'm thinking of placing a rather large order of Kent products so that I can keep most of the popular items in stock.  The question is... what sells... and what to stay away from.  Anything will help.

    Re: Help with Kent Products

This is only my 2 cents worth.  I would stock:

    Coral Accel
    Essential elements
    Iodine
Strontium / Molybdenum (I use Kent Turbo Strontium)
Kent Tech CB (part A and B)
Kent Calcium Reactor (New with good reviews)
kent pro-buffer dKh (or super buffer)

There are many Kent products as you know but I think these are the big ones that sell the most in my opinion.  Hope this helps.

I agree with the list. I would only add Coral Vite and Tech I (iodine supplement) to me the best iodine additive if you have a skimmer. Another good item would be selcon but its not buy kent.

A buddy of mine has been using the Kent Liquid Reactor (calcium additive)...his corraline has taken off and is now covering about 40% of his rock in just 2 months.  He also adds Kent Super Strontium.  I'll be monitoring his success with this Liquid Reactor to see how it goes.

sounds like you should bring them all in!

I use the buffer, would probably get some idodine, mine's ooold.

Liquid reactor sounds interesting to boost/adjust if my Ca++ isn't workin' just right.

I used to use the Zoe stuff too for soaking nori, etc. but you carry Selcon.

I would also add Tech-M (Magnesium) and Liquid Calcium to the stock list. A month ago I was having difficulty raising and maintaining alk and Ca levels, turns out my Mg level was depleted. I dosed Tech-M and my alk/Ca levels are happy again. The Liquid Ca is just so much easier to raise Ca levels for people without a sump. I guess the Turbo Ca (in powder form) also works, but you have to add it slowly to avoid irritating corals.
