some of our local sponsors can get led bars and led setups.. also ebay has alot.
or you can diy and get led's locally or on ebay.

i wanted to go with a full canopy setup. will the 5mm leds be enough for 11in of water? or will i have trouble keeping high light corals in the future? ive also had trouble finding the k ratings and was wondering if the mcd is the rating the i want?

    thanx for you help

the mcd is the power of the light.. it means millicandela which is a measure of power ( like candles but to the smaller scale ). has nothing to do with its temperature. for led or like any other forms, look for K ratings, if none are provided stay away or ask for its rating before purchase.

also, I would say, if you can, find " LUXEON " type led's instead of those 5mm leds. they are much much brighter and work in watts. the strongest luxeon i've seen and tested so far is a 5w.. and it blinded me for a good minute.. lol
    hope this helps.
