    Angry Plumbing supliers in Ottawa

    Hi,
I've been trying to setup my sump using Rona/Home Depot plumming suplies. It is just not working. These valves they have are huge and hard to turn.

Anyone knows any specalty stores locally here in Ottawa where I can get this cool flexible pipes and other plumbing equipment for my aquarium setup.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Arton.

I used MOPS when I set up my tank, and when I redo my plumbing (lessons learned), I'll be buying all my stuff at BWI. The plumbing places in Ottawa don't have much stuff, and definitely are not knowledgabe for SW setups, and the prices at BWI are much better.
58 gallon display, 20 gallon sump, Octopus Recirc 110, Mag9 return. Nova Extreme lighting.
    55lbs live rock.
Yellow Tang, 2 Clowns, Kupang Damsel, Yellow Watchmen.

24 gallon AquaPod, 24lbs live rock.
Valentini Toby, Coral Beauty, various snails, hermits.

12 gallon AquaPod, 12lbs live rock, lots of mushrooms.

You can also try PVCPlus on Colonnade, they'll have everything you need as well. You definitely don't want to buy those cheap ball valves at Home Depot, the more salt water you put through them the harder they are to turn, over time they tend to leak and not shut off completely as well. You pay more for the good stuff but it's well worth it and well as for size the ones Home Depot sells are actually small in comparison . As for the tubing, Spaflex is a common name. This is available from PVCPlus and probably the other guys as well, but at PVCPlus you have to buy the whole roll. I'm not sure if they still do but Marinescape used to carry this stuff and sell it in smaller lengths.
