    70w MH ballast

Hello all I am new to this forum and actually found it in my search fro a 70w MH ballast. I am hoping someone here can help me our atleast point me in the right direction. I am setting up a 15g tall nano and have decided to go with a little DIY project and mod a 300w halogen light. I have found it almost impossible to find the ballast for a reasonable price. Ballastwise has the best price( and the price I am looking to pay) but getting them to ship to Canada is a pain. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I had a batch of 70w electronic mh ballast in the past.
Sold all of them, they were awesome !!
The brand that makes then is NAIS,
here's a pic of them I found on the net:

I used to sell mine for 40$ cdn.
A quick search on google and I found a few selling at around that price.

    Hope this helps!

you found suppliers of that ballast in Canada? that was the ballast I was looking at but I could only find it at ballastwise.com and it is a pain to get them to ship to Canada. I will go search it again but if you could remember a specific site I would be most appreciative.

I would pick one up from the states, a used one or new.
as for purchasing from the states.. I do this weekly, shouldn't be an issue at all.
at worse you will have to pay taxes in the form of duties.

A package that size comming from the US should not be an issue. One thing to keep in mind is to stay away from UPS shipments... go with USPS (cost 10-15 to ship from the US)
