    looks real good.
I've seen quite a few like these in the past.
if you got the room for it, its a fun project for sure !

I'm not sure i'd put the sponge thing.. unless cleaned daily, will become a pollution factory.

    but the rest looks great

search the net for aiptasia filtering. I've seen some people make large cascades of water.. and put aiptasia on purpose there for filtering. its pretty cool to look at. he he.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

    its done, drying out side.
Since there's a healthy dispute about its beneficial properties.
i wanted to make it Ez to remove and cheap.
i had a bunch of plexi cuts n pieces lying around....
so it's the ugliest ATS ur guna see, but hey, if it works!
ill post pics after i install it on the system.
now i have to get workin on my lights.
    its a corner aqua with 2x 36" t5HO and 2x 8" t5 HO.
I have a 250w mh DE coming later his week and since its 14x11 inches,
ill have to open the existing system and keep the balast/wires/timer.
find a way to complement the MH with actinics using what i have,
for now, doesnt seem to fit.... well see what kind of canopy ill end up with
    l8tr Thx again

Ok i tested it today, not quite there yet.:b15:
the flow is surprisingly even with only the end of the tube, but ill find smthing to make it better.
like i said this was made 0$, with bits and pieces of plastic i had.
im also going 2 make a ramp for the waterfall to reduce the noise, and fix the braket...also theres a pic of my durso,
ugly but works great and cost me -10$
also the light will be an 8 inch t5ho fluo under and above the ats...
