how much flow are you going to be putting through the sump??

    whats your skimmers optimal water depth? ( usually ~ 8" - 9" )

if you move the chaeto into the LR section, you can have three sections. this will help with the flow and make construction easier.

120S RR tank with 60G basement sump / fuge

Return Pump: Little Giant 4-MDQX SC
    Water Movement: MP40W, Seio 1500, (2) Hydor K4's
Lighting: 400W SE MH with 10K Venture
Skimmer: Euro-Reef RS250 with gate valve
    Other: RODI, RDSB, PO4/AC reactor

For the FLow, its pretty low right now, but i will upgrade very soon.
My Rio would probly be pushin around 350 g/h. has for the Skimmer its Urchin Aquac and from the Tech there, there wont b any problem with this.
I was trying to keep the cheato out of there so i could use the Fuge for frags since the flow will be directed towards the front of the tank, the back should be pretty slow Flow.
    Is this setup Very bad??

    looks nice to me.
But add quite a few baffles if you are leaving your skimmer where it is.
I would turn it a bit around:

    check this drawing instead:

mainly.. you want your skimmer as close to your water entry from the tank so its skimmed right away.
the best way is actually to plumb your tanks overflow to the skimmer then to the tank, ( if you have the space & equipment for it ) else, having it right beside is your next best thing.

after that, I would baffle a few over the skimmer, then I could clean the water with charcoal or other like ozone/uv from time to time, then refugium, then filters of other types or dozing of chemicals ( that you want your tank to touch first before the sump gets it ) and heaters then pumps.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

i don't think it's bad, but the short ( horizontal in the drawing ) walls can increase the water velocity, which creates small bubbles that get shot back up to the display. you could easily separate the frags from the chaeto using LR and have different flow.
