    to silicone or not...

    Hello Everyone!
    I have a little problem...
    I just bought a 90G Hagen 2004
it's still good but the silicone is a tiny bit eaten on a couple corner.
I want to redo the silicone but....
I know its better to do it right the first time, i did silicone a few aqua, but never that big. Im afraid to mess it up!
Can i just remove the old one (the 4 corner not removing the bottom)
best i can, clean and re-apply.
Or do i need to remove the silicone from in between thus removing all glass panel+bottom and cleaning it right.

    I duno what to do
    Thx
    Phil

I think that you are a very wise man! I bet most people would wish that they had re-siliconed their tank when the opportunity presentled itself. Being proactive rather than reactive (finding a leak on the floor).

With that in mind, I would advise that you re-silicone the tank completly. That way you know that it is 100% safe. I think also that you won't find it all that hard to do if you have a friend/helper/extra pair of hands.

When you are done you will know that it is solid for many yers to come.

    My 2 cents.
