    MOVING DAy

hello everyone, i'm starting to stress out because i'm moving at the end of august. the last time i moved my aquarium i almost lost a good aussi acan i had just purchased at the time. now it has made a full recovery it's been a year the tank is set up and steady.

now i'm moveing again and worried i'm going to for sure lose my corals this time.
i was wondering if anyone had any tips/comments/suggestions. or even past experiences that they could share with me to make this transition easyer, from one place to another.
my tank it's only a little one i dont think it will be that big of a job. i have a 30gal tank lots of rock and corals.

    thanks guys
    Todd

if you can, setup another tank in your new place.. possibly with the same water ( possibly water changes ) and then migrate things over..else.. bring it to a friend for safe keeping.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

if you can try and start to make more water. best case hook it up to your system and try to get it the same water quality as the stuff in your tank now. Come time to actually move that water will be vital because your not going to be able to get all the water out of your system right now. And it will be less of a shock to your corals/fish when everything goes down.

Hope that makes sence. LOL if not i'll try and explain it a little more clear.
    Cheers,

What they said... even if your temp tank is a Rubbermaid bin... it will make the transition a lot smoother.

ya.. get one of those large black rubbermaid tubs ( cattle throuf )
it could be used as your sump afterwards.. they are super strong.
and quite light to lug around.

I saw you're in the West Island, Todd. I have a spare 130G. It can't be moved but if you want to use it to house your livestock temporarily, it would be fine with me.

PM me if you want details.
