    The Drilling Rig

    So here's the portable drill press that holds a VARIABLE speed drill. I would love to have used my regular bench top drill press but it dose not run slow enough for these bits. With this set up I can spin the rig to any vertical position. It can also be used horizontally and in both cases .. at any speed with hand controlled pressure. Should do the job nicely.

    Thanks Scuba ... It's a 4X8 3 piece 1" thick slate table that I got when the bars started to go bankrupt in town. So thanks to the no smoking bylaw I only paid $1350.00 :-) Including new cloth, bumper cushions, Pockets and DIY Assembly ...

    .... and you can add any amount of more epockets that you want with that drill already setup to go on the table!!!:

    THERE will be no DRILLING on my table ... but I do built stuff on it because it is the only LEVEL 4 foot X 8 foot place in the house LOL LOL lOL

    <chuckles> I got a table similar to that one also with a 1" slate standing up on it's side aganist the wall in the basement...can't sell it tho as i'm sure my son will want it up and running soon enough =)

    It is a Dimond Glass coring bit @ 2 1/2 inches.

    how much is one of those ( wish you were in halifax ) I am going to drill my 90gal but I'm scared :scared2:

    Steve if you have bad luck and it breaks,I can always sell you my 90 gallon.As i will be setting up my 135 very soon.
