    Cool tang man

thanks for the link. It actually says for SCHED 40 pipe but I don't think those are sched 40 heads as the hole size required is the same. I also went to MOPS and they have the RAINBOW LIFEGUARD stuff and it won't fit as well because I just measured the hole in the glass to make sure and it is 2'' not 2,1/2'' so I have to stay at 1'' ID. Oh well. Talked to REEFERBOY tonight anyways and he guided me in the right direction. 1 HAMMER HEAD pump for 3 RATS on the closed loop with 2'' of total hole[I can get away with 1,1/2'' any ways so theres wiggle room.
1 HAMMER HEAD to run remaining RAT and feed skimmer plus reactor in future date.

    John,
Just IMO, but I would use 2 intakes on a pump that size!!! That's a lot of suction for any animal to be near, just in case....
