    remote for your digicam

If your cam has this feature, a great way to enhance the pictures you take is having the camera on a stand and using a remote to strigger the picture.

I made my own this morning using left over scrap i had here and 1 connector from radio scrap. total cost 3$.

depending on camera, the settings/wiring is different.. but should give you an idea.

oh.. and yes.. I know its " butt " ugly.. but it was 50$ or 3$...
so 3$ it is. and it does the job just as well.

    you need:
1 connector for your cam ( 2.5mm stereo connector for me )
1 cable with 3 wires in it.
2 switches ( for my type of cam )
    - they were the reset button switches from pc cases.
    1 box. ( i used a broken 3v ( 2x AA batterie pack )

here is the wiring pattern for mine.

    No press Open circuit
    Half-press Sleeve + Ring
Full press Sleeve + Ring + Tip

    thx :
depending on your camera type, i'm sure you can find a diagram to make yourself a remote. i found the information i need from someone on the net who took his original remote appart.. and I figured the rest.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.
