    Can you change light set-up?

Can you change from the standard FW perfecto (fluor) lighting hood to take PC lighting? If so how?

Yes you can, you will need a retrofit kit.

how many wats are you trying to put up over your tank?

What I did with my 10g setup is gut the no light, and replace it with hagen glo-mat 2?. When finished I had 30w instead of 15. I know that not much, but it did help the softies a lot.

I just marked off some leftover wood, thinking about building another canopy for a 15g nano. 24x12x12. With this I should be able to fit 4 to 6 no 20w bulbs

I was just wondering because I saw some hoods for really cheap and wondered if they were convertable. For what the lighting is going to cost me (I showed you on A/P) it'll be cheaper just to buy the proper unit.

    Thx for the reply
