    Hi Harley

Nice looking sump. Is the large area in the centre going to be a refugium, or just open space? Also, can you put a lip around the top of the sump for added strength? is there a chance that without it the walls could bow outwards?

The bubble trap is a necessity of course. Would you be better off though if the water passed over the first baffle, under the second, and over the third? That would trap bubbles better than going under the first, over the second, and under the third. You are only stopping bubbles once like this.

    Gerry

P.S. I put your artwork on hold, and haven't done anything on it for quite some time. My apologies. Out of sight, out of mind. Now that it's on my mind again, I have to make an effort to finish that for you. Sorry about that Harley.
