Can I drill my 5G refugium?...

If yes...what do I need to drill glass?...

it's only 5 G but I need to drill it.
I don't want to use overflow for it.

    Thank you

Yes you can, my dad and I just drilled 3 holes in his 33 gallon tank two weeks ago. We used a dremel with the mastercraft dimond tipped bit set from Canadain Tire. Just make sure that while you are cutting the glass, you keep the glass and the bit wet at all times using a spray bottle. It's really not hard, just go slow and don't apply very much pressure, let the bit do the cutting. Also make sure the glass is not tempered, if it is it will explode!!!

LadyP the other option is to buy a saltwater safe plastic storage container of the right size and use that as a refuge. You can cut the holes you need in it with a hobby knife and have beer money left over.
