    Prizm Pro

When I open the air plug on this model all the way, I get an awlful rattling...does anyone know what it may be or how to solve the situation. If I close the air plug even a little bit my tank fills with microbubbles...please help...I am really begining to hate this skimmer.

    I did Volitan, thanks.

Currently my setup is a 100g, and in hindsight, which is always 20/20 I wish I would have gone ahead with my gut instinct and had the tank drilled.

So, with that being said, is the lifereef a suitable replacement for me at this time?

I should have spent some more time doing the research on the equipment, instead of putting everything in the hands of those at Aquarium Services. I really think that I was screwed $$$ big time. But I only found this like a month ago....oh well different things for the 150gal.

I have the Prizm pro on my 44 gal tank and I think that at 100 gallons you are probably at it's max... I know they are rated at 300 gallons but even full out you will get no where near that.

When I first set up my Prizm pro it did a bit of the same and not at full open valve either so this must just be a break in period as mine did the same and is gone now.. You will probably find that you will get alot of micro bubbles as well for the first bit as well.. DROVE ME CRAZY at first but slowly and surely it went away... GOOD LUCK.

    prism pro

Hi, I had the same problem with my prism pro skimmer. Don't worry, there's a breaking in period in which you have tweek it a bit. After a week or so you will find it will skim quite well with little noise.
