    75 gallons stand


    Anyone as a some diagram of a DIY stand... And I'm wondering if 2*4 would be strong enough to hold the weight of the tank... Or do I need to go with 4*4.

    I dont have a diagram for you but I used 2x4's for my 65 gallon tank... And it is solid!

    I used this page as the basis for a stand for a 75G: [Click on the 'stand/canopy' button]. It's made from 2x4's as is plenty soild.

    I did mine out of square tubing. 2x2x3/16, very solid.

    I used the same diagram shown by flycut's the 2x4 are glued together very solid, I have a 90gal. you are welcome to come and visit it if you are interested in this model, I kept the back open and modified the doors.
