    ca reactor

    what type of trace elements does the ca reactor give to the tank?

    A calcium reactor will supply mostly calcium. depending on the media used you'll also get varying amounts magnesium, strontium as well as whatever else is bound up in the media.. that's all I can up with at the moment- just go to the Caribsea web sit and look at what their aragonite contains and you'll get apretty good idea of what can be supplied with a reactor.

    do you think its overkill on a 65gal?i was looking at the cal pro model

    Yes the ProCal model is overkill for that sized tank. That is the one Reefmutt was using on his tank till about 1 month ago. Do you plan on eventually goimg to a bigger tank? If so, then it would be a good investment for that reason though.

    yes a bigger tank is the thinking mode about 230 gal
