Wait 24 hours and then rinse the plumbing out well. There should be NO smell of that glue before it is put into service.

Thanks very much, I actually still smell it a little bit. Should I wait not to smell anything before I flush it out with fresh water or can I flush it anyway?
    Thanks again.

Flush it out after 24 hours with warm water and the smell should be gone. If it's attached to your tank and no salt has been added just run the system for a day and discard that water. You can do your leak test while it's being flushed.
