    My Canopy Almost Complete

Here's a couple of pictures of my canopy almost finished. I'm pretty happy with it so far. So long as it fits on the aquarium!!!! I would like to here some feedback as to what you all think. There is a hole on either side. One side will hold 2 fans. The fans will be mounted almost like a window. They will be on a hinge so I can feed the fish through them. Alot easier than opening the main part of the canopy every time. The other side is the same way on a hinge except there will be a piece of Lexan there instead of fans. The squares cut in the aluminum reflectore are for the MH sockets. The is room between the reflectore and the wood for air circulation. Any info would be great.

I'm going to be mounting the Florescents as close to the water as possible. I think i'm going to be upgrading to VHO's in the near future.

Ya 1/4 inch checker plate. We have a brake at work so I bent it up there. I can't wait to get the lights in there.

    Well it's finally finished!!!!

Well I finally got my canopy on the fish tank. Nothing big about it I just figured I would show it off a little. Now all I got to do is put a little paint over the screws in the front and put the handles on!! And yes if your wondering one side of the tank is brighter then the other. I'm waiting for my new bulbs to come. Having major issues with the ARC bulbs.

Actually this one here shows the fans a little better. I have them on a hinge so it's a little easier to feed the fish. Instead of lifting up the top everytime. There is access to inside on both ends instead of lifting up the top.
