    Stand help.

    im building a stand for a 120g 60"x18 tank..

was wondering do i need to go with 4"x4" frame? i've been to sits that display 4x4 only.. i was under the impression i could use 2x4's since most stans i've seen are 1x3's and 2x2's(90gal stand-110g)

    thanks

    Mark

I used 2x4s for my 120 stand as per the directions from http://www.garf.org/tank/buildstand.asp

My carpentry skills suck, but it's functional :-P

    2X4's are fine.

Make an L with 2 2x4's and you will have more than enough support.
