    Night of the tight sphincter

I've finally reinforced the floor, checked the bulkheads and plumbing for leaks and filled by 180 gal+ 50 gal sump. All the pumps are running and I'm just waiting to hear a loud crack and see the tide move through my living room. Just thought...will I sleep tonight?

I had a night like that last week when I filled my 90 gal tank that was sitting on a shelf I built above my 180. The 90 is a fuge that drains down into the display. I kept imagining what would happen if it dropped.

I made three trips to Home Depot to by more lag bolts.

    So far so good.

    Good luck with yours.

Bvoss, A 90 galon fuge ABOVE your tank, hmmmm..., that sounds like a realy good idea. Any pics of that?

Sorry I didn't respond to the remarks yesterday, Wilma knocked out our phone lines here after my post. I've included a few photos, the tank, a view of the sump and plumbing from the right and left underneath the tank. So far no great crack and wet feet.

Looking good. The first few nights after setting up a large tank are always a little rough. To this day I check the tank and give the equipment the once over visual inspection before heading off to work.
