Could I install a bulkhead upside down?!

    Hi,

I have not enough space around my sump for my plumbing, so I would need to install a bulkhead upside down. I mean to install with the nut inside the tank. I would still put the washer inside the tank. Will it work well ?!

    Thank you !

    Steve

    Thanx Ivan!

I will install it upside down... even with a short one I would have not enough space, this is really tight!!!

you mean reversed, now, it can be done and as IVAN said he does it but,,, be carefull. the gasket is NOT supposed to be on the nut side. Its supposed to be on the other side because tightening of the nut will deform the gasket and could cause leaks. keep an eye out for that. all plumbing stores will tell you the same thing.

To be sure, I had a spare gasket and I have a washer on each side of the glass. And to be more safe I have put a lot of silicone on every side of the washers.

    I hope it wille work...
