    FoxFace slime and Sick???

    Hello everyone
This happnd before, and i didnt know the source.
I've seen flying around in the tank some white (transparent) film.

Didnt really know what to look for but tonight, i noticed my foxface
swimming around, then he just turbo surge to the other end of the tank leaving behind him.. yes u got it, the floating white film.

I am used of doing a closed inspection of him since a had him for more then 1 months and he is still never yellow. (no real cause of stress i can think of)
I suspected iCk/velvet but never seen any white dots.
Clowns used to Rubb againt rock(1-2 days) but it all been fine now.

    Water is 8.4 - .025 - 78/76f - 12 - lights for 10hours...0.0.0.0
Water clear all fish ok, corals heathy and spreading (vodka dosing 2.5ml for 90g of water)

tonight tho after i seen the film, noticed hes got some more all over his skin.

tryed to find some info on sick marine fish but nothing fits the bills
    anyone?
    Thanks
    Phil

Foxface have a heavy coat of slime which they can shed, it seems pretty much at will.
feed him well, make sure there are no aggressive fish.. maybe even put a blanket on if you have kids running around for a few days..

but odds are.. if its just that.. that is totally normal behavior

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

Ahhh the answer i was looking for !
Thx Liv bearer of good news
The only "agressive fish" in the tank is a purple pseudo who is the Boss.
I mean 2 small clows, 1 firefish, 1 lawnmower and a cleaner wrasse i doubt those guys would hurt a fly i mean a fox.
Fox is the biggest but i fear i did not provide enought hidding places.
I mean, there is plenty to my eyes, but i think purple is taking em all.
another puzzle to this puny 65 G.
    Thx again

    he he np,
if he can find a spot to hide and deal with the stress he should make it just fine.
also.. velvet wouldn't off lasted 1month in the tank.. its effects are usually quite fast and devastating.

His colors should come back when he feels happy... which could take a while.
