    Blood Shrimp Molting

    My Blood Shrimp Molts once every week. Is this normal?

    Hi Jason,

    Molting occurs when Shrimp are growing, you must have a smaller Blood shrimp creating the more frequent molting patterns. Yes this is normal and healthy actually.

    In a month or so you'll see a slow down.

    no3=30, 30% water change every two weeks

    weekly is quite fast, and your shrimp is quite big.. what are you feeding your tank with again ? i can't remember our last chat.. he he

    moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
    planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.
