    Unhappy Copperband

My CB won't eat since my purchase a few weeks back and has what looks like the start of fin rot and some white fungus on a fin.he did take care of feather duster but that was day 1 and just won't take to food. any suggestions? live pods maybe? my clown that I got also passed away fromwhat I thought was velvet brought on by stress of shipping.

Johnny my Copperband won't eat anything I put in either, but guess what he does eat. FLATWORMS!!! It sucks becuase I will either have to keep the copperband and keep the flat worms or use flat worm exit and get rid of the copperband!!!!

don't forget my 500g is far from ready for any living things. The CB is in my 75g.he ate all the feathers but hasn't taking to anything else. the cleaner gobies are trying to help with his fungus/finrot but he neads to eat soon.

New CB seems only to like to eat at night just before the MH goes out. I use Mysis with garlic and selcon. He does pick at the rocks all day.

Flame mention that her CB loves PE mysis.

I'd try hatching some baby brine shrimp. Feed them while they still have the yolk sack attached, they're more nutritous. That might get him started although copperbands aren't great at eating from the water column. They LOVE spaghetti worms if you could get any of those. Amphipods would be a good bet but getting enough of them is hard and even then there's no guarantee the copperband will get many.

I've been lucky with the two I've had, they both took PE Mysis from the beginning. If you haven't tried that yet definitely do.

I'd say the fin problems are probably just because he's not eating.
