Sick Koi
Off topic, but I have a sick Koi fish and don't know what it is.
There are no external signs of disease, but the fish is swimming like a penguin "waddles" It moves its head one way, and its tail the other way--very dramatic--any ideas on how to treat, or what it is????

I dont know nothing at all about koi but i think that when a fish acts weird like that it has an internal problem...tumor...severe infection...that would be my first thought....is it eating?

I was watching a show one time and they were saying that if you feed goldfish flakes they could get a bubble of air trapped in their stomach. (Going up after the food floating ontop of the water)They suggested that you feed them sinking pellets. To fix the problem of the gold fish they said to feed the fish Brine shrimp. It helps move the air bubble out ofthe digestive track. I don't really have any clue if this is what your fish has but you never know. ?????
I hope this helps. And if not it a little UFI!!!!!!

No, i haven't seen it it----it picks on the side walls--I guess its getting something. I think I will put it in a sick tank and medicate it for swim bladder disease
