Hello aquaria
Ive been reading your post for the past few weeks, and in need of your help in making a choice.
I am currently looking for a good skimmer, has anyone ever used the Aqua C urchin Pro.

I have.. and i have heard mixed results from it.. Right now one of the better skimmers if you can afford them are the Euro-reefs.

i use the AquaC Remora Pro and have heard many good reviews on it. I only have it for 2 weeks and am still in the "breaking in" phase, but i am happy with it so far.

Thread Highjacking :)
On the same note... I'm also looking at purchasing a new skimmer... the one I have is well...... wrasse
I was looking into the Berlin Turbo for insump setup.
Perhaps I could get some YAY's or NAY's...or even other choices.
I have a budget of about 400 bucks, and it'll be going into a 20 gallon sump for a 90 gallon tank.
thanks,
Mike

I got my new Protein skimmer after quite the battle with the LFS and thier policies which they didn't want to honor. Things worked out in my favour after a few calls and I installed my new Berlin Turbo beside my sump this afternoon... still waiting for it to "break-in", but it looks like it can suck a golfball through a garden hose.

How big is the Berlin Turbo base. did u need to use a bulkhead to install beside your sump, could be an option for me, instead of clutering my sump. also can the pump be replaced , does it have to be from berlin ( say maybe a mag)../.:smile3:
