I agree with everyone else.. Too expensive, and even if it were priced fair, I would rather go with vho actinics rather then PC.

If you want it to look like that tank, you are going to need 2x 250 watt halides and 2 4' vhos. You can buy complete kits=too much coin. Or you can buy a retro kit= less coin. Or the way they did it at marinescape: DIY= the best deal. But I would buy 2 250watt not 150 for your 65. Last time I checked they were running a venture 6500 bulb and vho true 03 actinics on that tank. But they could have changed, its been a while.

To be honest,I have a 250w ficture simular like that in my closet.

The fact is DIY Mogul lighting is by far superior to any of these DE fixtures.
DE was all hype,MOGULS are still the clear winner in output and spread.

So like everyone mentioned here go DIY,unless you have a open top tank and you want to suspend the lighting from the ceiling.
Glad to be of assistance, hope we were able to answer your questions concerning the products we distribute.

    Regards

Actually when I was there a few months back, I thought they told me there weren't using VHOs for actinics, they were just using regular Philips NO 03 Actinics to supliment their MH...

WitnessToThis: The difference between PC and VHO is they are two difference types of lamps. They look different to see them. VHO look more like a regular flourescent lamp, where as PC are usually smaller, and U shaped.

You might want to check out cooltouch lighting if you're looking for a store bought solution. IJO carries them and there's a few people here with those fixtures that are happy with them (myself included.)

    Cheers!
There is nothing so permanent as a temporary measure.
