    Green Skimmate

    Hey guys,

My skimmate has been more green than a crap brown. The actual tank is not over run with algae or anything, but I have been getting small outbreaks but not serious on the substrate. So I've cut back the lights to pretty much nothing to keep it under control. Suggestions?

    Cheers

My skimmate is a green color if i swim wet. If i set it to skim dry i get a dark green and almost black skimmate.

    Me too.

It is a brownish green, but, there is definitely green in there.
