    live rock

    i need live rock, where is the best place to get some?
    how long does it takes to cure? water has to be salty right?

    Ivan (IJO) has excellent LR at a very competitive price. If you buy pre-cured LR, then you won't have any curing time. Since the curing can cause MAJOR problems with bad odors, buying pre-cured is usually a good idea

    You can also check the Classifieds to see if anyone if selling LR privately.

    fishtail.ca sells them at 5.99
    what you guys think?
    I'm just not sure if its cured...

    I'd never heard of 'fishtail' until you posted this URL. It looks like they are mainly into Cichlids, with some marine fish. Ivan, on the other hand, is exclusively marine. No idea what the quality (or curing status) of the LR from fishtail is. However, the LR from Ivan is excellent. If you do a search on this site, you'll see many testimonials to it.
