    question about 220volt pump

    just buy 220volt submersible pump for my sump and buy adapter 110v to 220v whits out thing if its safe what your guys thing about it its safe running pump on 220v

    It should be fine.

    If 220 VAC leaks into the water it will be worse than 110 VAC. But, most of Europe is running on 220, so, that shouldn't be a problem. As long as the pump is sound.

    A bigger concern is the energy you waste upconverting from 110 to 220. If possible I'd run 220 from you panel to the sump pump, if you are planning to keep it for a while, especially if you have a capable friend or are able to do it yourself.
