    Lighting for a 60g cube?

    What do you guys think of a single 250w de 14k mh pendant.

    Hey Will, Im just so use to having 14 watts per gallon on my old 10g tank. I want to be able to keep a few clams and an anemone

    That light will work for 24"x24"x24". If that or smaller is your cube, you're good to go. If it's bigger, you'll have dark areas.

    You might want to add some tubes to even out the look though, "working" & "looking really cool" are some times 2 different things. Only putting it over your tank will tell you for sure though.

    Lights it up really nice. It's not the strongest light out there but I guess it depends what you want to do with your tank.

    watt per gallon dont matter buddy, as long as intensity is high, and 250w MH will ensure u to keep anemones and clams no probs, maybe some SPS too
