    What is this????

    Hey everybody,

Sorry the picture is so blurry :crap: , I'm having a really hard time focusing on close images. For you guys that can make out the image, what is this. I found that stuck to my glass about 3 months ago. I thought a piece of thread had accidently fell into the tank but no. That thing has been moving around but always staying near the front. It really looks like red thread all bunched together. Can anyone tell me what this is :help: Thanks

I believe they are called a hair worms. I have several in my tank. They are very good at cleaning the sand bed. They eat detritus and any left over food their tentacles can catch on the substrate.
