Night crew, hard @ work, with pic

    Hey guys,

I wanted to share a little something with everybody about my tank at night. I was observing it tonight at around midnight and noticed something really strange.

90% of my hermit crabs were in one single spot. Really weird
Just as if they were having this big hermit meeting. Have you guys ever noticed that in your tank???

It may be hard to see on the picture because the shell of my crabs are covered in Coraline Algae.

Let me know what you guys think they are doing cleaning one spot all together.

None of my live stock is missing :wink5: Do hermits eat fish or corals :confused- Not eating anything in there either. It's funny because when the lights are on they are all over the place.

Yeah I have noticed this behavior too. I just call it king of the hill in my tank, because they groupe on the top of a peek.

Last time I saw something like this one of the larger hermits climbed onto another, then came 90% out of it's shell. I just shook my head and walked away, I knew what was going on and I didn't need to watch.

    LOL

They were doing it again but in a different spot. They must meet there and say : OK we are going to clean this area all together so it won't take long.??? Well it's pretty fun to watch.
