    Dried liverock

    Can liverock be "revived" if it has been dry for several weeks???

    yes... with time. just have live rock seed it... takes a long time though

    so i can throw a few pounds in my tank (has 20+lbs in a 20 gall.) and it won't harm anything? Eventually after a few months, year it will be revived?

    yeah thats what i did... i searched up few threads about it here and on reef central... there are attitives that help boost the process too but i havenet tried...

    to help seed it.. i find that scratching the good live rock with a knife to spread the coraline and help the dried LR seed faster.
