    Never heard of this!!!

Now just to let you know I have not seen the tank yet but my buddies tank is the one with the problem. My buddy called me the other day and says to me that his rock is getting smaller. The tank is about 2 months old and he has small cleaning crew, 45 gal tank, 55 lbs of rock and two clowns....(small details for the question) The tank has gone through the brown algae problem already that made the rock look bigger.
The problem is that he took a picture when he set up the tank with the rock and brought it out the other day and now sees is rock is quite a bit smaller. In his words, 1/4 smaller. He notices the rock cracks are bigger and bigger holes in the rock. Also, it is the figi rock that is the problem. He has jacar rock in it too and it is fine.
Have any of you guys seen this or had this happen to you?

Tell him to put down the beer and stand closer it will look bigger :b2:

Rock doesn't shrink, if something is tunneling, chipping, or eating rock you would have piles of gravel dust.

That is what I exactly said to him... :b2: no gravel found or anything. He just says his rock got smaller and more holes in it. I even said with the current and things moving sand around could be covering up his rock.
