    absolutely.
you could have different stuff growing in them,
also, the more water volume, the more stability and more space for critters to grow.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

ive seen some really creative things on reefcentral where the setup had 2 75 gal fuge, for his 180 display... it was looked very cool... almost like a planted tank all by them selves

one tank was to grow regular macro like chaeto, mangroves, grape caulerpa, DSB, with bunch of inverts... dont remember what exactly and his other fuge was to grow Red Gracilaria i think its what its called... i just googled it.. he grew that to feed his tangs pretty much. and rubble and other stuff...

this post sorta worthless without pics but i just remembered seeing that setup.

    I think a dual refuge is a great idea. (I should I run 2 :b2: )

I have a smaller area that has a cryptic zone for spunges/feathers/etc. and a lit area for cheato. I then have a larger fuge that has a DSB extra rock and i plan on putting some seagrasses/mangroves in there.

The more fuge the better as fuges help contribute to the health of your tank. Do remember though that with a bigger fuge and bigger water volume you may also need a bigger skimmer, more heaters, etc.
