    Need honest opinion

I have come across a deal or at least what I think. I friend at work sold his house and the tank has to go. I am not exactly sure what all the equipment is but this is what I know he has according to what he told me. To let you know, tank and all equipment by marinescape. This is a running system.
    90 gallon drilled tank.
    30 gallon sump
marine scape designed skimmer (good to 300 gallons)
    2 250 watt MH
    2 vho actnic
    chemicals, equipment etc.
    150 pounds rock
    all coral and livestock.
built into wall, but will be removed
    metal stand, custom lighting rack.

He has to get rid of the tank and quickly. This tank has been running for 2.5 years and just needs some tlc and cleaner crew to be back up to shape. I have not seen the tank yet but hoping to go see it tonight.
What do you think this setup is worth and is it worth me getting. I would be upgrading from my 55 with no sump.
    Let me know.
    150 (reef) 56 (FOWLR)
75 gal sump 25 gal refuge
    300lbs CaribSea Aragonite Reef Sand
    280 lbs of Assorted rock
Tunze 9010 skimmer, Current USA 48" Fixture
    1 cleaner shrimp, pistol shrimp
    50 blue legged hermit, 15 nausaurus/astrea snails
Yellow tang, 2 clowns, 1 blue chromis, 1 yellow watchman 1 corral beauty

i'll base my prices on the classifieds section from what I can remember.

    90 gallon drilled tank. 100$
    30 gallon sump 50$
marine scape designed skimmer (good to 300 gallons) ~100$
    2 250 watt MH ( ballasts new are 60$ea + bulbs possibly ~40each new )
    2 vho actnic ( 50$ of bulbs + 1 ballast.. depends on brand ~60$ )
chemicals, equipment etc. ( could range alot.. but lets go 100$ )
150 pounds rock ( marinescape sells LR for 4.75 I believe so lets go 3-4$ a lbs 450-600$ or less )
all coral and livestock. ( depends on size of corals, types and how many )
i'll be generous and give 400$
built into wall, but will be removed
metal stand, ( if its the original, its not that great so 50$ )
custom lighting rack. ( depends on build and parts.. lets go 200$ )

grand total: ~1800$.. if it was mint condition.
but usually nobody is able to sell their tanks as a whole. so prices are usually much lower. he can probebly fetch ~1k to 1.4k for everything if he takes his time. also depends on quality of the equipment and shape.

    hope this helps.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

No this helps. He wants it gone so we would have to move it in a weekend. He originally wanted 1500 for the setup but letting it go for 1000. I will have a better idea of what it is worth when I see it. Just going by hear say.
    Thanks again
