Think it's time to do the deed..

Going to order my tank today Only one problem though.. after hanging out in this forum, the tank I'm ordering just doesn't seem big enough!
I'm worried it will arrive, I'll get it home and be disappointed that it is so small. Maybe that's just a typical woman feeling.. heh heh

What size tank are you going to order?

And it doesn't matter what size the tank is, after a while, you'll want something larger.

    108 gal. US (but dimensions say it's actually 116 gal. at 60.1875" x 18.125" x 24.1875")
It should be here in 1-2 weeks
    YAY!

It will make a good sump for my next setup!

    absolutely, great size tank.
and don't worry, its the same to all of us.. you always want a bigger tank.
more corals, more fish, bigger tank, better everything.. its a constant battle
and like you said.. in a few years, it will make a nice refugium or a sump so nothing lost and you learned a great deal on the way.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

A coworker who has a 55gal and 20gal is dismantling her 20gal and is looking for a home for a coral banded shrimp as she can't keep him with her other invertebrates. She's offered water from her tank, live rock and use of a HOT skimmer. I have a 10gal I could use if I were to take him, would it be large enough? Would he be OK living in a fuge when I get my main tank?

Now that I think of it, maybe I'll just go buy a 20 gal. It'd make a good sump/fuge and I wouldn't have to move to a larger one when I set up my main.
