    how do you get rid of brown algae?

    If you tank is fairly new this is a bloom and will go away on its own as the cycle continues. After the cycle completes you can add clean up crew to help speed things up.

    If it is a more mature tank then I would look at your skimmer/bioload/filtration. Or post a pic of the algae so we can see what type it is.
