It's gonna have a 55G sump and deciding if I'm gonna add a 10Gallon for refuge.

The skimmer I'm going to use is a Octopus Pro 300. Nice little replica of a Bubble King.

The rest of the eqipment will come slowly.

thats awesome, make sure you post lots of pics :b6:

with a 55G sump, could you build the refugium into it?? or does your skimmer take a most of the room. i love the coast to coast over flow, makes for very efficient surface skimming, is it internal or external?

Yeah it's gonna be nice, pictures are incoming, just need to format them.

For the overflow, it's internal and as for the sump, the skimmer has a big foot print so it takes a third almost.

Won't be long, got the tank drilled and just waiting for glass to put it in. Also getting the stand stained before everything else is finished.

If possible, Id go for a larger fuge. As big as you can get. A 45g tank is cheap. Well worth it IMO.

Im running both the Octopus Pro 250 and 300. Very good skimmers for their price and size. The wife hates them because of that nice skimmate smell when the cup fills up every 2 days.

I beta tested them for C&C MARINE http://www.cncmarinesupply.com/catalog/
