    New Refugium (thread #2)

I picked up a new refugium from Harley a few days ago. Fits nicely on the back of my 29G tank when I tested it. Looks like it will be a nice addition. I need to do some surgery on my hood before I put in place permanently (I didn't leave much clearence at the back when I built the hood. Dumb :-((). Looks like an Xmas break project.

Sounds like a job for the dremel....

All I ever need for any job lately is dremel, and duct tape
The only thing two reef keepers will agree on, is what the third reef keeper is doing wrong!

    What is a dremel?

I'm going to cut out about a 1"x12" section from the wood back to give the clearence I need. Not a big deal - I built the hood as my first project in getting started with a tank and hadn't realized what I would be installing later on.

A dremel is a variable (sometimes) "HIGH" speed hand held tool that will do just about any small job going. Cuts and or shapes anything! Don't you ever watch any TV? The CTC brand is on sale this week by the way.
:-) It is a must for any shop.
