    to Aquaria Canada

are you asking about a specific skimmer ( current usa ) or a CC ( counter current ) style skimmer??

please tell us a little more about your system and which skimmer specifically you were looking at, then we can offer better advice. :b16:

I am still in the research and planning stage and was curious about a skimmer that I seen for sale at a store.
    It was a Current USA.

My aquarium is a 90 corner bow front reef ready and I have a 35g that I am converting to a sump that will be installed in the basement directly under the aquarium.

    Thanks Tim

they are a cheaper skimmer, using a paddle wheel rather than the newer technology. IMO the skimmer is the most important piece of equipment and you should go with quality to avoid buying twice. depending on the price, i'm sure we can suggest a better skimmer to suit your needs.

yes, i've had good results with my octopus CA reactor.
But, 2 things: instructions are completely useless.. and the little hoses that came with it are junk..

but the unit itself is super solid! and the price is great for the size and its efficiency.
