    Missing Fishes?

Hi it been a while finally manage to set up my tank, cycling is finish just a few question I had a clown fish and a lawn morrow goby dissapear on me I don't know what happen I searhed every where in the tank in my overflow, in the sump and on the ground never to see them again it's been like 4 weeks it a just a 29 gal but I really puzzle just small little hermits and snail in the tank so I guess it can't be a predator no sign of a mantish either also does anyone know what going on with the Vortech MP 10 placed a pre-order from reef perfection never to here back wasn't it suppose to come out late spring and now it summer?

You would be surprised how quickly your clean up crew can clean up a small fish like that if it dies in the tank. You would also be suprised at how far away a fish can get from the tank if it does jump. I actually found a couple made it to the basement through my plumbing hole.

If those were the first fish you added it is possible that your tank just hadn't stablized enough, or the fish were sick when you got them. I would monitor your params and start to restock slowly.

yup.. I found fishies quite a distance from the tank too.
I also found fish being picked clean by clean up crews in a day. leaving only the tiny bones on sandy floor. I had a blue lynkia once.. it was picked clean in ~2 days.. ( this thing was huge ! )

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

could be a spawning but they are pretty rare ( annually?? ) and not usually even noticed by hobbyists. are you sure it is coming from the zoa's???
