    hello

    new to this forum but not the hobby..i am a member to some other sites(for how long i do not know? some are very very anal and some people like to play childesh games...hopefully not here?) anyhow.......
    i've been a salt guy now for three years...fresh water all my life.(but no longer..lol)


    recently just put up an add for some corals.

    just thought i would say hi.

    hello gsm

    i have a 55 gall0on tank (sumpless)
    100 pounds of live rock,no substrate(recently just got rid of it) i have a very very light sprinkle left just to cover bottom

    running a deltec mce600 skimmer
    also have an aquqclear70 for water flow and my carbon,the odd time i put in some filter floss for a couple days to catch particles in the water..

    2 maxi jet 1200 on the back bottom of tank

    live stock

    2 clowns
    2 yellow tail damsels
    six line wrasse
    coral beauty
    red scooter dragonet
    2 serpent stars
    1 brittle
    emerald crad
    aneome crab
    lots of blue legged hermit and assorted snails
    and lots of assorted corals

    ill post some picks later.

    Welcome to AC Clint!!! We are a pretty relaxed bunch here with the odd outbreak ( lol ). Overall you should enjoy your stay... feel free to ask whatever questions you might have... big or small. There are many experienced vets lurking the forum.

    not to use another cheesy cliche but... the more things change the more they stay the same. i haven't been there in a long time but i get the distinct feeling i'm not missing anything.....

    the thing about the other site is i had pending sales for some of my corals,and again i will say for some reason the ban on me has not been lifted for some strange reason ...lol

    and all i want to do is check the status of my pending sales..

    if not ohwell

    apperently a few of you here already know of a certain someone over there who is the "almighty" reefer and controller of lives....lol
    anyhow no big deal to me,just upset for the others who i was dealing with
    with no way for them to get a hold of me.

    i recently just broke tank down to take out my substrate
    i am now bare bottom tank,with a light sprinkle of substarte only quarter inch,just enough to clean regularly..no nitrate trap...lol
