Am I normal or it's just me...

hey... As some of you know already, I started a new system after 4 years break.

    but...

I found myself tonight watching my skimmer doing foam...and foam... and foam for more than 2 hours... then i thought... HEY! stop that, go asking :

Am I normal or it"s just me...???

Do you think I finally need to consult?

As long as your skimmer keeps working, it should keep right on foaming.

i often sit and stare at my sump / refugium, some pretty neat things going on in there.

totally normal.. or we are all abnormal
its nice to let brain idle from time to time.
last week i stopped by the fire.. must of stayed there for 2h easy.
I stare at my sump constantly.. watching corals swirl around.

Hey Ive even tasted my skimate, so your perfectly normal.

Now just to clarify it wasn't in a glass with dinner at the time, I was empty the collection cup and tripped on the way to the sink and ended up with most of it on my face. BTW it tasted like crap.

That foam is captivating! the way it forms, the way it bubbles up, swirls and pop!
