    Question 90 Gallon Build.

Ok this salt water aquarium hobby is new to me. My wife and i bought a 29 gallon Oceanic Bioqube as a starter tank. It has been great , a little more expensive than I had realized but now i have the fever. I have a need to do something new . Is a 90 gallon tank a good size for a first time build. I could use some basic input on things like the size of refuge for it, amount of live rock in tank/refuge. Lighting and other items list would also be appreciated. To (Drill or not to drill) that is the question. lol . Any and all input will be appreciated. Thanx for your time.

    a 90g is a perfect size !
the amount of LR is pretty much upto you. depending on your aquascaping taste. keeping in mind the more LR is good as it helps filter the water.
if you dont want much in the tank, think about putting it in the sump instead.
but you will still probebly want over 100lbs of it in the 90g and maybe another 50 or more in the sump.
ex: I have ~180# in my 220g.. but have ~345# of it in my sump.

lighting either some good t5 sets or a combination of t5's and mh's.
to drill is the only good way to do it.. in my mind
think about getting a top of the line skimmer.they cost a small fortune, but you will remember why you spent that much on it after a while. he he

the size of the sump.. as big as you can make it.
if you can have the sump in another room.. hidden away.. then get a rubbermaid cattle feed .. those dark grey/black bins.. they are the best/cheapest way to have a large sump.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.
