    Very Large Red Crab?

I just discovered this large red crab in my tank. It's HUGE! Easily three inches across. I think it's not good. I caught it eating my Duncans (which have been unhappy lately... I wonder why?)

Any ideas what it is? I thought it was Trapezia Pocillopora/Acropora Crab, but it's way too big.

Any tricks for getting them out?

Ignore the solidified sandbed in these pics. That's another problem and my main project this weekend...

    Thanks

    well..
    he's big.. quite big.
he does have pincers that look like meat eaters.
but the pincers are not black ( which is a usual dead giveaway they are evil )
it looks alot like a Lophozozymus erinnyes, "Red and White-spotted Reef Crab"
quite common crabs and grow quite large.

If you have any doughts, put him in your sump or overflow he'll clean up good there..else, put him for sale.. someone is bound to want him.. possibly as food for predator fish.

planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

Thanks for the "black pincer" note. I did not know that (and what I don't know about this hobby could fill many books).

I'm beginning to think it's a Red-Ridged Clinging Crab (Mirthrax forceps), but again it's too big...

I will likely get him out tomorrow. Apparently leaning a glass leaning against a rock with food in it will lure him and trap him in the glass. I'll try to get better pics then and toss him in my sump.
