same here.. tank is stable.. I did shut down the heaters anyway.. just unplugged them.. for some reason they wouldn't trip anymore.. or wouldn't trip out fast enough..
time for a controller soon hehe.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

My tank is in the rec room in the basement - no problems with heat. I suspect that even if I didn't have AC, it wouldn't make much of a difference.

as to the temp, I loved having the tank in the basement, never a head issue.. but it was the opposite.. even in the summer i had 1200w of heating running most of the time.
next house, tank on the first floor, sump directly under it in the basement in a dedicated room. so probebly get away from heating in the summer.

I'm only running a 75G + 35G sump, so heating it in the basement isn't a huge deal.

I was wondering if the AC in peoples houses did a good job at keeping heat down. I guess so. I've never had AC in a house before All the places we lived it wasn't that hot) but were def going to be getting it when we move there. I hear it's crazy hot there now!!
    Cheers,
