    Aptaisia Problem

Anybody have any Bergia Nudibranches they want to get rid of or know where I can get them? I have tried everything from lemon juice, Joe's Juice and Aptaisia X but I can't seem to get them under control. They dissapear for about a week and then they come back in full force. I used to have a large Copperband Butterfly that was very industrious in keeping my tank Aptaisia free for almost 3 years but alas he bit the dust about 6 months ago.Anyone have any other ideas?

    Hey there.
Animals that eat Aiptasia do exist. The most useful ones are:
    Peppermint shrimp
    Copperband butterfly fish
Racoon butterfly fish and similar species
    Berghia verrucicornis and similar species

Some commercial products are also available:
    Aiptasia eXit
    Joe's Juice
    Stop Aiptasia
    Elimi-Aiptas

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Slykat,

Thanks for your input. I was able to get 6 Berghia Nudibranches from Corel Reef Shop so right now I have to wait and see if it works. I had Peppermint Shrimp before and they never went near it. My first Copperband never touched it but my second one kept my tank clean for over 2 years until he perished.
